The Dufouleur family has been making wine in Nuits Saint Georges since the 16th century. Their estate spans from Fixin in the north of the Côte de Nuits to Santenay in the south of the Côte de Beaune, with a large concentration of fields in an around Nuits Saint Georges, where the winemaking and storage facilities are located. Yvan Doufouleur, the 14th generation winemaker, made his first vintage in 1985 and is now the head winemaker for the estate.
